"Into a Night of Hell"
Ron Kinard (c) 2002

down trodden

to the brink of disaster

all seems lost

the body screams for mercy

the soul screams for release

death has new meaning

life, as it appears

lacks motivation for a continuance

Death would be relief

the physical plane is irrelevant

the spiritual plane, unseen

suddenly nothing has meaning

everything is lost

cast out into the street

no money, no food

only

the clothes on your back

even those are an unbearable burden

to heavy a load to carry

as you slip away

into a night of Hell

you don't realize how good you have it....until it's all gone...
